According to a recent study by IBM and the Boston College Center of Work & Family, attracting, retaining and developing female talent across the world is not only essential to a company's culture, it’s a business imperative.
In effect, in order for women to play a critical role in the global economy, they must be present in STEM (science, technology engineering and mathematics) careers to drive innovation across industries.
The case study, "Empowering Women's Success in Technology, IBM's Commitment to Inclusion," outlines how IBM brings women in STEM together for development opportunities, provides them resources to advance their careers and share best practices across the industry.
